IED Demo Bar

EBAD offers state-of-the-art technology with the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Demo Bar. Designed for use with nearly all robots currently employed by EOD personnel, the bar accepts a 1000 ft (300m) Skin-Pack® Non-Electric Detonator. The mini shock tube is deployed from the Skin-Pack® and laid on the ground as the robot moves forward, eliminating concerns about snagging the shock tube on corners or projections. The most crucial benefit of this product is that EOD personnel can neutralize an IED without leaving their covered position. The charge is command detonated using the integral M81 firing assembly. Since the M81 firing assembly remains at the control point, the user can command detonate the charge at any time during the mission.

Intuitive design for optimal control

Featuring a contoured grip for an easy grab by the robot, a telescoping arm can be extended as needed to balance the bar. The arm can also be rotated to 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° positions. The Skin-Pack® cradle can be attached at the 0° and 90° positions which allows the grip feature to be in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
